Emergency aid for families in areas difficult to access

The people in the tribal regions of Walilake, Masisi, Rutshuru and Lubero in North Kivu Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are being severely impacted by ethnically motivated armed conflicts. HEKS/EPER is assisting people with road repairs and providing emergency aid that is benefiting some 230,000 people.

Asylum seekers, refugees or people facing discrimination often have very limited access to legal advice. The HEKS/EPER legal advice centres help these people claim their rights.

SEMO HEKS/EPER KICK

Since 1998, «HEKS/EPER KICK» has been assisting young job-seekers from the Emmental and Oberaargau areas. The programme creates bridges to vocational training. Participants are offered structured daily routines through educational and work opportunities and through personal mentoring.
