Linguadukt serves as a language bridge between people speaking a foreign language and qualified staff from the health, social and education sectors. Linguadukt means to help persons concerned to overcome the language and culture barriers.
In addition, the participation prospects for migrants should be increased and the costs (e.g. in the health sector) should be reduced. The intercultural interpreter service facilitates qualified interpreters in 60 languages.
HEKS/EPER Linguadukt – intercultural interpreting service
HEKS/EPER Linguadukt supplies intercultural interpreters in about seventy languages, thereby enabling foreign-language speakers and specialists from the health, social and educational sectors to communicate with one another.
HEKS/EPER's «MEL» programme offers training for intercultural interpreters and mediators (IIMs) as well as a continuing training programme for trained IIMs and specialists in the fields of health, education and social services.
