Active hope
Young people are the ones who will have to adapt the most to the effects of climate change. Many are feeling anxious about an increasingly uncertain future. We support youth groups in making sense of the complexity of the climate crisis and empower them to turn hopelessness into meaningful action.
Understanding climate disruption
At the TransformAction Lab, we offer workshops where young people can engage with the complex challenges of climate change. We support them in:
- Understanding the cause-effect relationships of climate change
- Questioning common values and norms
- Approaching challenges in a playful and collaborative way
- Recognising their own options for action
Looking inward
Our workshops create a safe space that allows young people to express their thoughts and feelings regarding the climate crisis and:
- exchange ideas and feelings with their peers
- explore their connection to nature
- gain new perspectives and avanues for action
Shaping the future
Our activities at the TransformAction Lab support young people in :
- recognising their own possibilities for action, taking into account their strengths and limitations
- exploring new forms of problem-solving, communication and collaboration
- Fostering their creativity and imagination
