HEKS/EPER is making a difference in the region of Zurich/Schaffhausen
Through all of its programmes, the HEKS/EPER Regional Office Zurich/Schaffhausen works actively for the integration of socially deprived groups, and advocates on behalf of asylum seekers and migrants so that they have a chance of a fair asylum procedure and are able to exercise their rights in society. The projects and programmes are designed to foster independence and a sense of social belonging on the part of beneficiaries. The Regional Office works closely with national churches, the Swiss Refugee Council, regional authorities, leading municipal, cantonal and federal entities, as well as with private institutions.

The HEKS/EPER Legal Advice Office Zurich informs asylum seekers and temporarily admitted persons about the asylum procedure and provides legal advice and assistance.

The conversation groups are meant for improving verbal expression. Once a week, migrants discuss daily issues in small groups.
