Populations are dependent on emergency relief following natural disasters or during armed conflicts. Basic needs include drinking water, food, emergency shelter and items such as kitchen utensils, blankets, mats or hygiene articles. Thanks to competent partners with good local knowledge, HEKS/EPER is able to respond to people's needs. Aid is coordinated with authorities and other organizations.
