Conversation Courses

Oral language skills are crucial to finding one's way around in Switzerland. HEKS/EPER offers a variety of courses for practising German.

Information on everyday matters for migrants

Knowledge of everyday issues in Switzerland is the key to social integration and provides guidance in the new home. It also enhances migrant’s competence and independence. HEKS/EPER offers various practical courses for German practice.

Assessment Tests and "fide" Test

In several regions, HEKS/EPER offers individual language skill assessments and the "fide" language passport, which is issued on behalf of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM). The "fide" test can be used in Switzerland when interacting with authorities (residence, settlement, citizenship) and with companies (job seeking, education and training).
