Interpreting by volunteer lay interpreters

Many refugees from Ukraine are currently arriving in Switzerland. Communication in the shelters, authorities and information centres is central to effective assistance. This is why HEKS Linguadukt, together with the canton of Solothurn, has launched "HEKS Ukrainian" - an emergency aid service with lay interpreters.

In order to provide linguistic support to the people concerned from Ukraine, Ukrainian and/or Russian-speaking volunteers can be booked for extraordinary assignments as part of this offer. The volunteers are recruited, supported and coordinated by us.
